This image was shot spring 0f 2008 in Shenandoah National Park, along Skyline Drive. It was a beautiful spring day, the light and warm breeze made this mountain meadow a beautiful place to stop, meditate on the beauty of nature and record this image.

B Payden Photography 365 - Day 4: "Capitol Spring #1" 02-14-10"

I for one am sick of all the snow we have had in the Washington DC Metro area so I have gone into my collection and chosen this image "Capitol Spring #1" as today's post. I recorded this image in April of 1998 when I was still shooting film, the US Capitol Grounds are always the prettiest in the spring with the tulips blooming and the trees in bloom. Spring is almost here!
