This image was recorded April of 2000 on the grounds of The US Capitol Building. DC in the spring is a particularly beautiful time in the city. I love this image of a bed of Tulips with The Capitol Dome in the background.

I recorded this image of a Tulip on the grounds of The US Capitol Building in April 2000. I love Washington DC in the springtime and as my shooting schedule allows I try to spend some time each spring in the city with my camera.

B Payden Photography 365 - Day 4: "Capitol Spring #1" 02-14-10"
I for one am sick of all the snow we have had in the Washington DC Metro area so I have gone into my collection and chosen this image "Capitol Spring #1" as today's post. I recorded this image in April of 1998 when I was still shooting film, the US Capitol Grounds are always the prettiest in the spring with the tulips blooming and the trees in bloom. Spring is almost here!
